Agreeing to these terms

By opening and browsing feiper.com (the "Site"), you accept these Terms of Use. They are deliberately short and written in plain language, because a recipe site should not need a law degree to read. If any part of them is unacceptable to you, the remedy is simple: please do not use the Site.

What this website is

Feiper Cocina is an editorial publication about Oaxacan cooking. It offers recipes, techniques and food writing free of charge. Nothing on the Site is for sale, the Site processes no payments, and access is not conditioned on providing any personal information.

Cooking from our recipes

You are welcome, and encouraged, to cook every dish published here: at home, for family, for friends, for community events. You may print individual recipes for your own kitchen use. What the license to enjoy our recipes does not include is republishing our written content elsewhere, which is covered next.

Ownership of the content

The texts, recipe write-ups, descriptions, layout, graphics and the Feiper Cocina name are the intellectual property of the Site operator or are used under license. A list of ingredients as such is not protected by copyright, but our written method, descriptions and editorial voice are. Reproducing whole pages, scraping the Site's content, or presenting our writing as your own is not permitted without prior written consent.

What you may not do

• Copy substantial parts of the Site to another website, app, ebook or print publication without permission.
• Use automated tools to harvest content at scale from the Site.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with the Site's operation or security.
• Use the Site's name or branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.

Links that leave the site

Occasionally we link to outside resources, for example a policy page of a third party service. Those destinations are outside our control, and linking to them is not an endorsement of everything they contain. Their terms and policies, not ours, apply once you are there.

No warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". While recipes are tested with care, we make no warranty that any page is free of errors, that the Site will be available without interruption, or that a given dish will suit your equipment, altitude, ingredients or taste. Cooking is a craft with variables we cannot see from here.

Limits on liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or from cooking dishes described on it. Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site is to stop using it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from use of the Site shall be submitted to the competent courts of the operator's registered domicile.

Severability and changes

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. We may revise these Terms from time to time; the revision date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version, and continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
